Are you an experienced HR Manager who is looking for the next step? Advinia are looking for someone experienced in HR to assist the Head of HR & Recruitment and the primary focus will be on helping to support the Regional HR Managers and Recruitment Mangers as well as playing a key roll out in the creation and refresh of the HR policies as well as project work and all the other things that crop up in the day to day life of a HR Manager!  This is a brand new role and really presents and opportunity to effect change in what is a rapidly growing business 

What we are looking for:- 

  • Excellent Employment Law knowledge 
  • An outstanding communicator at all levels, from being able to draft a good email to being able to talk openly and honestly to staff teams (and everything in between) 
  • Great instincts for case management and comfortable in "getting off the fence" 
  • Able to engage at all levels, feels as comfortable talking to the Chairman of the Board as you do a Carer in anyone of our homes and everyone in between!  
  • Can build strong working relationships quickly 
  • An ability to be able to roll your sleeves up and do the "day to day" as well as being able to assist in future planning to be able to add value to our amazing home teams and make them feel as wonderful as we think they are
  • You must (and this part is a big must) not want to work in a corporate workplace, we are incredibly hard working but quite relaxed in our approach 
  • Your location is not necessarily a major concern to us but you must be able to visit Head Office in Finchley at least once (maybe even twice) a week as will be working very closely with the Head of HR and have the flexibility to visit anyone of our locations at sometimes short notice (we have locations from Aberdeen to London and many places in between) 
  • And finally (well not finally as this is just a very small snap shot of what we are looking for) you must have a passion for enhancing our employees experience through practical and realistic solutions - they look after our residents and in turn we must look after them
